Some of the sounds they created this year include squeaky doors, running water, smacking binders, walking in snow, closing lockers and moving desks.
Almost all the new sounds already have been downloaded by other users on the site. Anyone can download and use the sounds for their own projects.
Freesound is a collaborative database of Creative Commons Licensed sounds. Users can browse, download and share sounds.
Students in the class usually use FreeSound.org for their own final projects in the Digital Audio Unit.
