At the end of September, my Writing 110 students had to complete an assignment where they had to "pitch" a new character for a television series or film.
A few students asked if they could create a character for a game. One of the students, Scott, came up with an interesting character for the Zelda series of games.
Scott describes his character, Cro-ket, as looking "somewhat like a cross between a lemur and a frog, and sounds like a hissing cricket." Scott argues that Cro-Ket will open "many windows of opportunity for us in terms of gameplay and story content."
Scott has even included some sketches of his character. It is definitely worth checking out. Click here to see more about Scott's new character, Cro-ket.
